Are you someone who loves turning complex ideas into clear, creative content? GammaLabs is on the lookout for an Apprentice Digital Learning Designer who’s ready to dive into the world of tech and creativity.  

 

Main purpose of role: 

Your role will focus on creating learning materials that will help customers and business partners order and use Gamma products through their portal while also supporting them with clear technical support. You will own your own projects from the get-go, whilst gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of digital design including: video creation/editing and writing tech-based articles. 

The purpose of this apprentice position is to develop your skills over time until you are able to move into an experienced Junior Digital Learning Designer role. As an apprentice you will receive guidance and support from your manager and team to eventually become independent in your role. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

You will be taught everything you need to know, especially the technical knowledge, however, as an apprentice, you can expect to: 

  • Support with the creation of engaging learning content using a range of tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop etc. 
  • Support the Digital Learning Team by ensuring all learning content is uploaded to the relevant platform. 
  • Assist in the organising and documenting learning content.  
  • Support customers and business partners with queries and issues.  
  • Evaluate the impact of content that you make to ensure a smooth the customer experience. 

 

Are you someone who: 

  • Enjoys being creative, whether it’s designing visuals, editing videos, or configuring new tools. 
  • Likes working with computers and exploring social media platforms like TikTok or YouTube. 
  • Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work. 
  • Has clear oral and written communication skills. 
  • Can manage multiple projects at once and stay organised under pressure 

 

To be successful in this role, you do not need any formal qualifications or experience. 

 

Qualification you will earn:

  • Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3

 

Skills you will gain: 

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a diverse set of skills, including: 

  • How to make content for different audiences. 
  • Graphic design skills including video editing and animation. 
  • Translating complex technical information into something easy to understand. 
  • A strong understanding of instructional design theories and evaluation models 
  • Creating visual assets like to support learning. 
  • Technical writing for articles and other resources. 
  • Learning platform (LMS) administration. 

 

Please note, you are unable to apply for this apprenticeship if you have already attained one of the following: 

  • Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3 
  • Learning and Development consultant business partner L5 
  • Digital learning designer L5 
  • CIPD L3,5 or 7
