Have you ever wondered what makes a tech product a great experience for the user, or perhaps you have a real passion for technology? GammaLabs is on the look-out for a Customer Experience and Quality Assurance Apprentice who is eager to gain some brilliant, hands-on skills in tech and engineering.
Main purpose of role:
Your role will focus on improving how Gamma’s products work, from when customers first find the product, to supporting after purchasing. To do this, you will perform tests in the building of the product, software or system, the product release, and engineering processes to make the customer’s experience as smooth as possible.
The purpose of this apprentice position is to develop your skills over time until you are able to move into an experienced Junior CXQA role. As an apprentice you will receive guidance and support from your manager and team to eventually become independent in your role.
Key responsibilities:
You will be taught everything you need to know, especially the technical knowledge, however, as an apprentice, you can expect to:
- Check the experience of the customer is meeting specific requirements.
- Perform tests in the product building, release, and engineering.
- Check the quality of processes for the customer from start-to-finish.
- Work with Gamma’s suppliers to maintain the quality of products.
Are you someone who has:
- A keen interest in technology, this could be anything from gaming, to coding, to dabbling with software engineering.
- Good problem-solving skills and a naturally inquisitive personality.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- A positive approach to personal development.
- A strong attention to detail with an analytical, logical mindset
- Strong time management skills.
To be successful in this role, you do not need any formal qualifications or experience.
Qualification you will earn:
- Software Tester Level 4
Skills you will gain:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a diverse set of skills, including:
- Become an expert in the tools and platforms needed to assess the performance of products, systems and software.
- Stakeholder management –you will learn how to develop relationships with team members and business partners.
- How to report designs and findings to senior management.
- Project management skills - you will be owning your own small-medium projects from the offset.
Please note, you are unable to apply for this apprenticeship if you have already attained one of the following:
- ISTQB
- Degree in any Digital or Computer Science programme
- Software Tester Level 4
