Early careers
At Taylor Wimpey, you have the opportunity to build a successful career that lasts well into the future. Our Graduate schemes are tailormade for those who have a passion for one our technical business areas. You will be mentored by some of the most experienced people in our business, financially supported to complete the relevant qualifications and learn to excel in your chosen field.
Programme Duration and Structure
The programme will last between 2 years and includes development course focusing on your professional skills which are delivered at our specialist Training Hub. You will have the opportunity to attend regular business Masterclasses as well as spend insight days in other departments. Depending on your entry point and role requirements, you may be enrolled on to an industry recognised professional qualification.

We have a structured reward framework that outlines the expectations. As you gain practical experience and demonstrate your abilities, you will move through the salary levels. This progression is supported by regular development conversations, with your line manager.

Hiring Process
There will be four stages to the hiring process:
Online application
- You’ll need to complete an online application form and we’ll support you throughout the full application process.
Pre-recorded video interview
- Our assessors will review your application and, if you’ve met the requirements, you'll be invited to a pre-recorded video interview. You’ll be sent a link with instructions to record and submit your answers to five interview questions.
Microsoft Teams interview
- The following stage is a Microsoft Teams interview which will consist of motivational and competency-based questions. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your strengths, achievements and experiences through the examples that you provide.
Final Interview
- The final stage of the process will be an in-person interview at the relevant office. For our graduate opportunities, we anticipate the final stage of the process will take place in August 2025.
