Stagecoach
Transport is at the heart of a strong economy, a strong society, a strong environment and a strong community – and we’re at the very heart of the transport industry.
Stagecoach has a privileged role in connecting individuals and communities across the UK to healthcare, to employment, to education, to leisure – and most importantly to each other.
We’re proud to be one of the UK’s biggest and best transport businesses, and our people are at the heart of delivering our exceptional service to our customers.
With around 23,500 colleagues we have operations throughout the UK, and every year we provide travel services to 1 billion passenger journeys across over 100 major towns and cities.
Our values are built around growth and sustainability because it is right for our business, our customers, our people and our planet. That’s why we have aligned our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) roadmap with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to address materiality in our business.
Hiring Process
There will be four stages to the hiring process:
Online application
- Firstly, you’ll need to complete an online application form. It only takes 30 seconds to register your interest and we’ll support you throughout the full application process.
Telephone interview
- The following stage is a telephone interview which will consist of motivational and competency-based questions. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your strengths, achievements, and experiences through the examples that you provide.
Shortlisting and video profile
- The next stage will involve a 2-minute pre-recorded video profile to share (alongside your CV) with the hiring managers when shortlisting your application.
Face-to-face assessment centre
- The final stage of the process will be an invitation to a face-to-face assessment centre which will take place over 1.5 days. The assessment centres will include a number of individual and group activities. We want to set you up for success and so we’ll send you an information pack ahead of the assessment centre, so you’ll know what to prepare for. Assessment centres are also a great way for you to learn about who we are and to understand if we are a good fit for you, so please feel free to ask questions!
- Successful candidates will then start on their programme in September 2024. For those that are unsuccessful, we will give you a call to give you feedback to help you with your future job search.
