This 13 month placement for a Finance Intern in our Milk & Ingredients Finance Department will provide timely and accurate financial, commercial and operational information to the business to support decision making.  

You are likely to be involved in and work on:  

• Preparation and distribution of various weekly and monthly finance reports that support decision making.
• Maintenance of retail customer price trackers in collaboration with the commercial team.  
• Providing cost and pricing support to the commercial finance teams.  
• Providing costing support for tenders.
• Month end support on journal preparation and posting, stock reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaising with the management accounts team to ensure all necessary postings are made to accurately reflect customer performance.
• Supporting consolidation and reporting of specific aspects of finance e.g. customer margins / pricing adjustments. 
• Take part in a group project with all other placement students.

Who Should Apply?  

Müller are looking for highly numerical second year students who are required to undertake a placement year as part of their studies and are on track for a 2:1 degree qualification or above. 

Skills required for these positions include, but are not limited to:  

• Strong numerical, accuracy and modelling skills.
• Confident using Excel.
• Relationship building and confidence in communicating with financial and non-financial stakeholders. 
• Impact and influencing skills.  
• Analytical problem solver with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.  
• Structured approach to managing priorities across multiple projects.  

You must hold a full UK driver's licence as some travel is required with these roles and have full unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
